In the world of RPG games, there are three different classes that players can choose from. These classes have a variety of strengths and weaknesses, which is why it’s important to know what each class is best suited for.

The king’s bounty: crossworlds best class is a debate that has been going on for quite some time. There are three classes in King’s Bounty 2, the Warrior, Mage, and Paladin. Which one should you choose?

In King’s Bounty 2, choose your character is crucial since it will affect how you play the game from beginning to end. And now we’ll talk about how to choose the ideal character for you in King’s Bounty II depending on your personal play style.

Because the kind of character you select is influenced by how you want to play the game. However, things are a little more complicated, and what seems to be a smart idea at first may turn out to be incorrect in the long term.

If you’re in a rush, I’ll start by sharing the conclusion with you before we get into the specifics.

The Paladin Elisa is the greatest character to play in King’s Bounty 2 since she not only lets you perform spells that are very helpful in combat, but she can also command bigger troops. For most players, this is the ideal combo.

The Mage Katharine is the second greatest character, since her spellcasting skills will be very helpful in combat.

Aivar the Warrior is a character in the game Aivar the Warrior, surprisingly, is the poorest conceivable choice. Not only does he start off with obvious disadvantages (such not being able to select a particular route early on in the game), but his inability to learn spells for combat is a major Con.

Each character is examined in detail.

Let’s take a short look at each character to see what their benefits are and talk about them. Before making a choice, it’s important to get to know and appreciate each character (particularly their talents).

In my view, the characters below are listed from greatest to worst.

Elisa the Paladin

In most RPGs, selecting a specialist character over one that attempts to mix and match is always preferable, but things are different in King’s Bounty 2.

Elisa is the greatest option since she not only has access to bigger armies early on in the game, but she can also study and perform spells in combat, which is very helpful.

You don’t need to be an expert mage to win; even the most basic spells offer you a significant edge. Larger armies and the capacity to perform spells without the need of scrolls, on the other hand, are a great combination.

Now, let’s take a look at Elisa’s abilities:

Life and Light’s Magic 1 Scrolls may be used to learn Life and Light spells.
1st Order Balance When Order Ideal units are mixed with units of other Ideals, the Morale penalty is decreased by one.
1st line of defense In the first round of battle, all ally units receive +5 armor.
Armor of the Phantasmal In the first round of battle, all ally units receive +5 Resistance.

All of these characteristics are designed to offer you a significant edge early on in the game without becoming obsolete later on.

However, your army will consist mostly of Order soldiers at first (with a few others mixed in, so great to have reduced morale penalty). You’ll also get quicker access to Magic of Life spells, as well as two troop stat enhancements for rapid attacks.

Even better, these abilities are all long-term beneficial, so you can put your talent points to good use in order to create an amazing character.

Katharine the Mage is a powerful witch.

She was really my first pick in the game, and she’s a good character. She’s an excellent spellcaster, but you’ll seldom utilize more than a few of the same spells in combat (so you won’t need much here).

Overall, this is a good option, but not as good as the Paladin. Let’s have a look at her first abilities below!

Air and Fire Magic 1 Scrolls may be used to learn Air and Fire spells.
Earth and Ice Magic 1 Scrolls may be used to learn Earth and Ice spells.
Balance of finesse 1 When Finesse Ideal units are mixed with units of other Ideals, the Morale penalty is lowered by one.
1st Insidious Manoeuvre Allies have a 25% chance of removing an opponent buff and applying it to themselves when inflicting damage to a target.

To be honest, I didn’t have a very impressive set of abilities to begin with. Her lack of emphasis on the real battle enhancing skills makes her weaker, particularly early in the game, and the Insidious Maneuver is fairly worthless (I would never suggest investing in it) (up to level 10-12).

Aivar the Warrior

In my RPGs, I generally like to play melee fighters, but this time it would be a big error to select this character. The fact that he is unable to learn spells is a significant handicap.

Not only that, but as I previously said, any mission route involving the usage of magic will be unavailable to him, restricting your progress.

Aivar can cast spells if he has scrolls, but only if he has scrolls. You’ll discover a limited number of scrolls while playing, and you may also buy them.

However, since scrolls are very costly and money is always an issue in the game (see how to generate extra gold here), buying magic scrolls is out of the question.

But first, have a look at his basic abilities:

1st Battle Preparedness The hero receives a +3 Warfare bonus.
1st Practice Increases unit XP by 10% when they win fights.
1st Power Balance When Power Ideal units are merged with units of other Ideals, the Morale penalty is decreased by one.
1st Punishment Each injured member of an Allied unit increased the damage by 5%.

To be honest, they aren’t terrible talents to begin with! True, you won’t have access to Power soldiers until later in the game, but you will… The stat increase provided by the beginning skills (together with the ones obtained by spending talent points) will be very beneficial.

Even yet, the fact that you can’t cast spells and are thrown into a tough fight early on (risking losing precious money) makes him the worst – or at the very least the most hardest – character to play as.

Conclusion

When playing King’s Bounty 2, you now know which character to choose. Elisa, since she can master magic and command bigger armies at a young age (which is a big bonus for the early fights).

Katharine is also a solid option, but her magical advantages aren’t very significant in the long run since you won’t be casting many spells. Aivar is the worst choice since he can’t learn magic, which will make the game much more difficult.

Do you think the Paladin is the greatest character to play, or do you think something else? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.

In King’s Bounty 2, the Warrior, Mage, and Paladin are all viable choices for a best character. The Warrior has high damage output and can equip heavy armor, while the Mage is able to cast powerful spells. The Paladin has great defense and can heal allies in battle.
